My wife and I wanted to beautify our front yard, and David Hargrove was the answer. For years the concrete driveway was spalling. At times we would receive notifications from our HOA. Eventually given the age of our children with one with a car and another three close to it, we decided to do the renovation.
We met David of American Lawn & Landscaping after being referred by another reputable, Reno landscaping company. From the first day he was very personable and knowledgeable. He had ideas that went far beyond our scope of the project. To give you an idea of David’s attention to detail, our front gate, metal latch broke a couple years ago. He told my wife weeks before beginning the project, when he didn’t have a signed contract, he would have someone solder the latch onto the gate. We weren’t even doing anything to the gate or it surroundings. But on the first day of the project, he had the latch soldered. I had thought he was blowing smoke to get my wife’s business. I was wrong.
David paid attention to all details. He was able to do everything we asked. We now have a beautiful front appearance. We have expanded our driveway so that multiple cars may be parked on the side. We have a beautiful side walkway so the resident landscaper doesn’t have to drag a lawnmower.
What I liked most about David is he was always willing to make corrections or adjustments if warranted. It appears as if the quality of the pavers were poor. Many pavers were chipped. If the crew had put down damaged pavers, we would mark them, and they would be replaced. There were a couple delays in the job some of which were not David’s fault. But he was very patient and his patience made us feel comfortable that the outcome we desired would become a reality.
We are not done with the front as eventually we’d like to redo the walkway, gate and courtyard into our home. David is young so he will be around years to come to help us and all other Renoites both near and far. We are so fortunate to have been matched with him, and we feel anyone who uses his services will be far better off than with another landscaping design company. Thank you!
